Mark Devlin seems sure that Paul McCartney was replaced. However, he doesn't entirely believe he died in a car crash, but rather it was planned for him to be replaced even before the band was even established. He also believes The Beatles were engineered right from the go to slowly introduce their later music into the public consciousness without anyone noticing the change. I heard somewhere that it's possible Paul may have had a "twin" who was used throughout the Beatles career: I think could explain why Paul had blue eyes one minute then brown the next, was taller then suddenly was shorter, well before the alleged Sept 66 replacement date. May be Paul McCartney actually has an identical twin brother, and that Mike McCarthy isn't his real brother. Just a thought, that's all.
