This week on the HPANWO Show: a controversial programme about the flat earth theory. Over the last few months, a radical idea has emerged in the alternative community which states that the planet earth is not spherical in shape. It is instead a flat disk. Could this really be true? And if it's not true, why do so many people believe that it is?
This double feature show includes an interview with flat
earth researcher Mark Sargent, see: https://www.youtube.com/user/markksargent/
and: http://www.flatearthclues.com/.
And also Niall Murphy who has examined the flat earth subject as well, see: http://shamanicfreedomradio.podomatic.com/.

Hi Ben,
ReplyDeleteIt was a great show and, I think, very well balanced, all things considered. I expected nothing less from you; have you considered a career in diplomacy? :-) I listened to the podcast on Friday. Both sides were very well represented and both viewpoints respected as befitting of such an intellectual debate. I have to say that, much as I would have relished the opportunity to have participated in the chatroom discussion, having looked at the chatwing comments, it looks quite ugly. Your 'proponent' guest was eloquent and made more persuasive arguments than I have ever heard. However I was still left feeling that it will only require one well aimed piece of evidence to debunk this flat earth theory once and for all. Well, it is what it is and I still regard myself as dwelling upon an oblate sphere flying through space with a gravitational force preventing me from flying off into the forever...but I keep an open mind and let's see what tomorrow brings...BW dude
Great show the chat box exploded
